Pasting in a handful of full-resolution photos is a fast way to turn a small presentation into a file too large to email.

Compress Pictures reduces every embedded image's file size at once — handy before emailing a heavy deck.
How to use it
- Click any picture in the presentation to select it.
- Go to Picture Format > Compress Pictures.
- Uncheck "Apply only to this picture" so the change applies to every image in the file.
- Choose a resolution suited to how the deck will be viewed, then click OK.
Where it helps most
Decks that have become slow to open, or too large to email, after pasting in several full-resolution photos.
One thing to watch for
Compression is easiest to undo before saving. Keep a copy of the original file until you've confirmed the compressed version still looks right at full screen.
