Making a doc double as a presentation used to mean exporting it somewhere else, reformatting everything, and hoping it still made sense as slides.
Here's the trick:
Presentation mode turns any page's headings into slide breaks automatically, so the doc you already wrote becomes something you can present straight from Notion.
How to use it
- Open the page you want to present.
- Click the ··· menu in the top right corner.
- Choose Presentation mode.
- Notion splits the page into slides using your headings as the breaks between them — use the arrow keys or on-screen arrows to move through them.
Where it helps most
Turning meeting notes, a project update, or a proposal you already wrote in Notion into something presentable, without rebuilding it in a slide tool.
One thing to watch for
How a page splits into slides depends entirely on its heading structure — a page with no headings becomes one single slide, so it's worth adding a few headings first if you're planning to present something.
